This "Y-shape" aldehyde will preferably react with the N-terminal amine in biological active molecules to produce a stable amine linkage in the presence of a reducing reagent such as sodium cyanoborohydride. This aldehyde will couple with the N-terminal amine of the targeted molecules at pH 5-8.

M-PEG-SH reacts with the thiol groups on cystein side chains in proteins and peptides to generates a disulfide-bridged polymer conjugate. Substitution of M-PEG-SH is 90% or greater. Purity of M-SH-PEG is 90% or greater.
M-PEG-ALD preferably reacts with the N-terminal amine in biological active molecules to produce a stable amine linkage in the presence of a reducing reagent such as sodium cyanoborohydride.
